While Yirgacheffe is technically a part of the Sidama region, it has been trademarked as a coffee-growing microregion for its highly distinctive beans. The hilly, fertile area is home to coffee garden villages where Yirgacheffe berries thrive on the high altitudes.

I love Yirgacheffe coffees in general, and this is a fantastic example of one that I keep coming back to. The light roast is aromatic, expressive, and remarkably consistent as I've bought from Buunni over the years. I take mine as a pourover, black, with a relatively low water/coffee ratio (20:1).

Come from Montreal we have really good coffee torefactors doing light roast ethiopian for espresso. They are superior to this Buunni beans I have tried, using dame brrewing process. But it was a lifesaver to have you because I couldnt find anything else in US. cheers !
